Team ALTERNATE and n!faculty are through to the last-four stage in EPS Germany Winter 2012 after winning their respective quarter-final encounters at the weekend. The teams who had placed third to sixth during the regular season travelled to the ESL's TV studios in Cologne to contest the last two places in the semi-finals. ALTERNATE required only two maps to beat Red Read, winning de_train_se (16:13) and de_mirage_csgo (16:12), while n!faculty's victories on de_dust2_se (16:12) and de_train_se (16:4) sandwiched dotpiXels' 16:13 win on de_mirage_csgo. These two teams will now join up with mousesports and gamed!de in the semi-finals, which will take place on December 8th inside the ESL's TV studios, with the match-ups looking as follows:
