Following the conclusion of the $300,000 tournament, we turn towards the Fantasy game to see who the best performing teams and players were. While selecting players for their teams ahead of ESL One Cologne 2019, users were spoiled for choice, with 14 out of the top 16 teams in attendance. However, there were few surprises in terms of big performers. ![]() Breaking the bank for Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut ($246,000) was worth it, as the French prodigy brought in 242 points, with that number going up to 305 if he was assigned the AWP role. Three of the cheaper picks from favored teams, Liquid and Astralis, performed admirably as well: Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Nick "nitr0" Cannella. Rounding out the ideal lineup was a budget pick from Ninjas in Pyjamas, Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson ($168,000). The best lineup would bring in 1055 if paired with the ideal roles:
That exact lineup wasn't selected by any of the users reaching top 10 in the HLTV League, with many opting for Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev over ZywOo. The best-scoring player, Newb1e, combined four Astralis members together with nitr0, and outperformed the second-placed BlakeC thanks to better usage of his boosters (9/14 successful).
Looking at the top 10 best performing players, aside from the aforementioned ones, we can find Nicolai "device" Reedtz, Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, with the biggest surprise being Benjamin "blameF" Bremer, HEROIC's IGL score 111 points ($197,000).
In the HLTV Confirmed show Draft League, in which we invited Neil "NeiL_M" Murphy and Jamie "keita" Hall, Professeur bounced back and took a win thanks to his selection of three Astralis members. The Confirmed Cup standings:
